Stay cool and hydrated this summer with some refreshing infused water recipes! Staying adequately hydrated, especially in the summertime, can be hard, so finding ways to make plain water more delicious makes drinking water more fun and yummy! I started infusing my own water in college in order to stay better hydrated since I found it was easy to get dehydrated when just plain water was the only option. To best prepare your infused water, I suggest filling a tall pitcher halfway with ice followed by whatever fruit you desire to infuse into your water. I usually cut any fruit I have into small pieces, cut pieces, or thin rings, depending on the fruit. After adding the fruit, I fill up the rest of the pitcher to the top with water and refrigerate the pitcher overnight. Whenever all the fruit falls to the bottom of the pitcher, it is time to change out the fruit. You can either keep the fruit in the pitcher until it stops infusing the water or remove the fruit if you wish.
